getting to the wedding

While Boston's Logan Airport is the closest to Cambridge, you may find it cheaper to come in to T.F. Green (PVD) Airport near Providence, R.I. and take the bus to Boston.

driving

Boston is not known as a great city for driving, and you don't need a car to get to the wedding from either hotel. However, both hotels do have parking, and if you're interested in visiting places like Walden Pond, you will probably need a car (or a bike rental). Please note that there will be no parking at either the church or the reception.

walking / mass transit

Boston is known as a very walkable city, as is Cambridge. We strongly recommend perambulation. The church and Harvard Square Hotel are both a few blocks from the "T" (the subway), specifically the Harvard Square stop on the Red Line. The Red Line will take you straight to downtown Boston.

from Doubletree Hotel to the wedding

Guests staying at the Doubletree Hotel can take the hotel shuttle to Harvard Square on Saturday afternoon. Shuttles leave the Doubletree at 4:45pm, arriving in Harvard Square at 4:50pm. The shutttle drops guests off at the corner or Brattle Street and JFK Drive. To get to the church, walk south two blocks on JFK and turn Left onto Winthrop Street. You must reserve a spot on the shuttle in advance.

returning to the Doubletree Hotel

A return shuttle to Doubletree leaves from the same location at 9:50pm. Taxis will be available from the reception to Doubletree all evening.
