Pottery at the MexicArte Museum

Our hotel was very convenient to the clubs on 6th Street, but not much else. The closest cultural establishment was the MexicArte Museum, which at the time featured only a visiting exhibit of pottery from southern Mexico. Not even their permanent collection was on display.

The neat thing about this piece is that the artist (Gustavo Perez) has given the surface the illusion of cut and peeling paper.
