the frog pond, Boston Commons

The Frog Pond is an artificial pond in Boston Commons where children like to splash around or skate, depending on the season. I was surprised to see that the pond was still open for skating yesterday (March 16, 2004). The MDC (or whatever Romney's decided to rename it) knows its local climate.
